Hello! The last two days have been BUSY!! Yesterday I spent the morning in Faribault, I had to get my dress for Alicia's wedding fitted and then I went out to eat with Papa. While I was there Jese was baking one more cake and he crumb-coated two cakes for me! When I got back the decorating started. We ended the night behind schedule. I wanted to get 5 cakes done each day and we only got 4 done!! I did spend half the night making flowers though. I went to bed around 11:00. This morning I accidentally slept until 9:30 so I got another late start. Jese helped me for a little bit but he had to go to work and school. He did help me big time by bringing three cakes to Dad and Rita's to be put in their fridge since mine can't hold 15 cakes! I ended up getting 5 more cakes done today and 1 crumb-coated for tomorrow! I had my first casualty, I broke a layer in half! Good thing I had an extra cake!!! I have also ran out of powdered sugar. I will have Jese pick some up tonight after his class. Tomorrow will be super busy. I have to finish the last 5 cakes and go to Faribault in the evening. I am going to bring Amy 3 cakes for her to put in her fridge also! On Friday morning I have to go shopping to get some jewelry for the wedding and I have to drop off all of the cakes, and then it is wedding time! I won't put up any pictures of cakes until the wedding is over because I don't want anyone to see them until then! Okay that is all for tonight, I have to take out the garbage now!

Does this make me a crazy cat lady??

Help! The cats have taken over the bathroom!! I sometimes put my dirty towel in the sink when I get ready to keep my hair out of the sink. Well Pizza likes to lay in it when I do that and yesterday Oreo discovered it too! Now I can't keep them out of the sink!!! Even without the towel in it Oreo sleeps in it!! I just use the kitchen sink whenever they are in it now!

Sad, sad news...our basement is getting water in it :( Jese tore out the floor today so it wouldn't get moldy under it. he numbered all of them so we can put it back down once we fix the leaking problem!! It is a good thing he took it out because once he did we discovered there was way more water under it than we thought!!! 

I finished baking all of the cakes for dad and Rita's wedding today. Now there are 15 cakes, or 30 layers in my fridge! Needless to say we have no room for regular food!! I don't know what I am going to do with them once I start frosting and decorating them. My original plan was to put them out in the garage on a table but now that it is 50 degrees out that won't work!! I will probably have to drive them all over Minnesota to store them in people's fridges until Friday!! 

Last night I fell asleep on the couch at 8:30, at 10:00 I finally decided to go to bed! Then I couldn't fall asleep!! Oh well, technically I slept in this morning because I got up at 9:00, but really it would have been the same time I always get up when I don't babysit! Okay that is all for today!

My Poor Car...

My car has been defiled!! Yesterday I was babysitting for Amy and since she has to park in her driveway now that the ground is soft I had to park on the road. Well the demon on her road decided it was time for me to have my car hit! Her neighbor was late to work so he backed out of his driveway to fast and ran right into my car!! He had a super big truck so of course he didn't even scratch his truck but smashed my car pretty good! When I checked the light it didn't work but then halfway home it decided to turn on. Then my car looked drunk because it was shinning directly into the other lane instead of straight!! I felt pretty stupid driving like that!! Now I look like the bad driver when really I wasn't even in the car when it happened, jerk!! I knew the cop that came to file the report, I graduated with him! So that makes 5 cars hit in that exact spot since Amy has moved there, she better hurry up and move. 

Okay I have no more time to waste, I have to start baking cakes now!

I love thunderstorms!!!

This morning I woke up to the most wonderful noise, thunder!! I miss storms! Thankfully our basement still hasn't leaking, we are keeping our fingers crossed so it doesn't start. That is the bad part of buying a house that was foreclosed and then flipped because the previous owners didn't have it long enough to know if it floods! All of the snow surrounding the house is gone, alls that is left is what is in the front and back yards. It is raining out super hard right now :) 

Today Rita came to my rescue and is babysitting the kids for me so I can stay home and get better. Yesterday I was the worst babysitter ever! Liam played on the computer the whole day and I just let Josie do whatever she wanted, which was mostly play in their tent and play with Remi! I watched tv all day! This morning my throat feels better but my nose is still super stuffy and my ears are still plugged up :( Okay well that is about all I know.

Hello! Last night I didn't sleep so good. I woke up at 3:30 with the entire right side of my head plugged up, my ear, my nose, and my throat! I ended up getting up at 8:00. By 10:30 Jese was finally ready for the day so we went to Walmart to get supplies for cakes. We also visited Dad and went to his house to get some meat! Once we got home we made a pizza for lunch. Then I changed the sheets and vacuumed and that is about it! I have been getting stuffier and stuffier as the day goes on :( Jese has been practicing making flowers, he made roses just out of frosting! They look very nice, he is such a betty crocker! Now he is making me some eggs and I am watching Massive Moves with Kipper. Okay well I am cold and miserable so I must go now!

Yea, warm weather!

Hello! This weekend was a fun one! Saturday morning I went up to the MOA with Amy and Mother to get me a dress for Dad and Rita's wedding! I got the first dress I tried on! I also got the cutest shoes ever!!! I also got Kipper a new bark collar, now he is like a mute puppy :) Saturday night Jese and I went to Waseca and went out to eat at Starfire with the family for Mom and Rick's wedding celebration. Then we went bowling, I sucked really bad!!! It was lots of fun. On Sunday Jese and I had a super lazy day. I woke him up at 9:00 and we started our Saw marathon! We watched all 6 Saw movies, it took us all day long! We also went to DQ, but first we locked ourselves out of the house, thankfully it was super easy to break into! Today I just babysat all day, it was easy, both kids were in a good mood. Okay well that is all I know for today!

Oh yes, I do have the greatest husband, not only did Jese do all of the dishes, he also picked up all of the dog poop that has collected over the winter!!!

Really, now this is getting ridiculous!

Oreo once again found our clean clothes and laid in them, I don't know why I bother to wash them!!

Hello! Yesterday Jese got up early so we decided to explore downtown. We went to Bargain Betty's and found Jese a nice shirt for Jese, I think we will just get all of his work shirts from there from now on unless we find them super on sale at stores! Most of the button-up shirts are $9.99 so that is cheaper than most places. Then we went to all of the decor, crafty stores! I found a cute bracelet! Then we decided to try Jimmy's Pizza, it was pretty good!  

It was so nice to sleep in this morning! I got up at 8:00, earlier than I used to but later than 5:45 like I have been. Today I finished organizing our pantry and bathroom stuff. We finally got some storage in the bathroom so I had to move everything into there! Once I did that I had more room for my cookie cutters so I organized them by holiday! I combined a few holidays so I wouldn't have to use 8 bags, instead I just used 5! I have way over 100 cookie cutters!! I also moved my cookbooks because they were taking up too much room and I didn't have enough room for all of my serving dishes. I also found room for all of my cake decorating supplies! I still haven't done the dishes because I hate doing them. I just got done folding the laundry I washed yesterday. I really like my homemade laundry detergent, the clothes are much softer! I also switched from dryer sheets to one of the things you just put on the dryer drum and it lasts for 2 months, I like that much better too, even though it isn't cheaper than dryer sheets unless you have a coupon! Right now I am watching Gilmore Girls since I was folding laundry. Kipper wants to cuddle so I will probably watch one more episode, oh now Pizza wants to cuddle too!

Hello! Right now I am supposed to be babysitting but instead I am sitting at home! I was there this morning but with a change of plans I got to come home! I am also staying home tomorrow :) I am very pleased about this because now I get to sleep in. 

It is so nice out today! I decided to sit outside with Kipper and I read for a little bit but then I decided to move his tie-out for him! Then I had to watch him because he was funny! He will never walk on the snow and today he finally decided it was okay to do it, good thing he is so light and the snow is so heavy so he didn't fall through! Now I am just trying to decide what to do, I could clean, do the dishes, or be lazy...I think I will go for the later one and do the rest tomorrow! Okay well on with my day.

Good Bye Snow!!

I am so happy the snow is finally melting!! Our yard is getting very muddy!! But on the plus side our basement hasn't flooded yet! Today was not a good day at all!!! Josie got Liam's cold and she was not happy about it. All day long no matter what I did she cried :( Poor Liam got no attention because of her so then he got super crabby. I normally have him take a nap at 1:00 but by 11:30 I was going nuts so then I sent him to bed! Josie went shortly after that and thankfully she took a nap. After Liam woke up Remi decided to puke in the living room, gross! Then Josie decided to wake up! Thankfully they were both a little less crabby. Josie was still crying a lot but not as much. About an hour before I got to leave she got in a much better mood and played with toys and I read! This week I have just been babysitting, nothing exciting. Jese has been very nice and did the dishes for me and today he made up my supper for me before he left so I just had to pop it into the oven! It is almost done, I am having mac-n-cheese. Okay well that is enough for today.

Oh yes, I found out today that the neighbors house didn't sell, the bank must have sent someone in to clean it up and then relisted it under a different real estate agent, it is cheaper now too!

Hello! Man was yesterday busy! Today was a much calmer day. I slept in until 7:30, and then I got ready for Alicia's wedding shower, which wasn't until 1:00! By 10:30 I was bored and didn't feel like doing the dishes so I watched tv until it was time for me to go! The shower was lots of fun, it was nice to see everyone again! I even won some flowers! When I got home Jese was awake already! So we watched Whiteout, which we both really liked, and we ate canned soup for supper! We just got done watching One Last Thing, it was a good movie! Now Jese is getting ready for work and I am watching Outdoor Room on HGTV! I am watching it because I am dreaming of a patio that I will probably never get! Okay well that is all for now!

Hello! Today has been a productive day so far! I got up at 8:45, ate breakfast while watching Ellen and then took a shower. After my shower I put away all of the dishes Jese washed a few days ago, then the menu planning chore can around! I had to take inventory of our coupons, make March's Menu, and write a grocery list, which doesn't sound like much but trust me it takes a long time to do! Then I went to Coborn's, I spent more than last month but there was a good reason! I had to buy cereal (I buy it every few months and stock up on it), I got bird food which I haven't got in a long time, and we have 5 more meals in March than we did in February! Oh, I also had to get shampoo, the jerks didn't have my conditioner so I am going to have to go back and get that!! I will have to go back again in a couple weeks to get all of my cake supplies for Dad and Rita's wedding and for my party supplies for Alicia's Bachelorette Party that I am hosting! After I got home I had to unload everything and update my pantry inventory. Then I ate some lunch and now here I am! Next I am going to make rice crispy bars, oh yes I also got groceries for snacks so I can make some! I also need to fold the laundry I washed a few days ago and do some general cleaning. I am making Pizza Burgers for supper, yum!! 

As for our Frugal February, we did pretty good, until the middle of the month!! We ended up going to two movies, going out to eat once, DQ a couple times, and bought too many cake decorating tools!! Other than that we did good!! It is easier for me to save money without thinking about it rather than set a goal of a frugal month because then all I can think about is spending money!! This month will hopefully go better!! Okay well the rice crispy bars are calling my name to be made!!

Oh yes, for the first time since fall, Kipper hung out outside for awhile today! Then he barked so I yelled at him and then he stopped so I let him stay out for awhile longer!! He also ate something, not sure what, and puked on my rug, jerk!

A Fun Day!

Hello! Today we stayed busy! This morning I woke up at 8:00, once Jese got up at 9:15 we got ready for the day. We went to the 10:15 showing of Shutter Island. We both liked the movie! We have now gone to our quota of movies for the year!! After that we went to Kohl's because I wanted to look at comforters because I was craving a new one again so I knew if I saw the prices it would stop my cravings! I was right, we left without a comforter and nothing else either! Then we went to Michaels because we needed some cake decorating tools. Well we went a little overboard because we both wanted different things! Once we got home we decided to practice making flowers! I used leftover fondant from Liam's cake, mine are the purple and green colors. Jese used gum paste, which we have never used before, his flowers are the orange and white ones! I also practiced my piping skills, I still need some more practice! I also took a shower tonight since I have to get up early tomorrow. Now we are watching 19 kids and counting! Okay well that is all for today!

Okay Today Really is a Lazy Day!!

Hello! Well yesterday ended up not being a lazy day! Jese and I worked out for a little while, then I made some laundry detergent. So far it seems to be working pretty good!! After I got that made I decided it was time to do our taxes. Hopefully I did them right, I have never had to do them with a house before! Because we get the first-time homeowners tax credit we couldn't e-file so I have to mail them in, that means it will take longer to get our refund, but oh well at least we will still get it!  We are getting much more back this year than last year, that is for sure!! While I finished those up Jese started supper and then I helped him finish it. Then I decided I wanted cupcakes and I had to test out the flour Dad and Rita gave me anyways so I made some. Alls I can say is it is a good thing I tested out the flour because it won't work! The flour has other stuff mixed in with it and we thought it was like cake flour but it wasn't! the cupcakes first spilled all over my oven and the deflated all the way down to the bottom of the pan! I thought maybe it was because they were filled to full so with the leftover batter I made a cake, but that deflated also! So that isn't going to work, good thing I tested it! So since I didn't get my cupcakes like I wanted Jese was nice and we the Dairy Queen, yummy!! I went to bed pretty early again. Today I have been doing the laundry and watching TV! I watched last weeks episode of Lost and I just got done watching the move "Wild Heart Can't Be Broken" I haven't watched that in a super long time! It was still a good movie!! Okay well the dryer just got done so I have to go get the clothes.

Hello! Yesterday I didn't have to babysit but I went to Waseca anyways! Amy, Liam, and I went down to Rochester to watch Ben wrestle! I forgot my camera so I took a picture with my phone, it didn't turn out so good. We had lots of fun and Ben did really good! Once I got back Jese and I went to my favorite restaurant, El Tequila! I went to bed early because I was tired, well early as in 10:15!! I had to stay up to watch Apolo Ohno!! Today is going to be a lazy day! I don't feel like doing anything so I am not going to! Well that is all I know today.

Pie, Pie, Me Oh My!!

Hello! My house smells delicious right now because I have an apple pie in the oven! It should be done pretty soon! Today I babysat all day again, both kids were in a good mood today so that was nice! I even got Liam to take a 3 1/2 hour nap!! Josie on the other hand only slept for an hour and a half but since she wasn't crabby and Liam was sleeping it was okay! I got home at 5:45, put my in the oven and then took a shower. After that I had to wash the dishes because all the pots were dirty and I needed them! I then made homemade mac-n-cheese! While that was cooking I filled the fish tank and made Jell-O. I finally just got done eating!! I don't know what I am going to do tonight, Project Runway is on and I normally watch it at 10:30 when the replay it but I don't know if I will be able to stay up for the whole thing!! Okay well that is all for today!

I haven't been up to much lately! Yesterday Jese came down with me to babysit Liam and Josie. They got super crabby by the time we were leaving! When we got home Jese made supper while I took a shower and did the laundry. I went to bed early because I was super tired! This morning when my alarm went off I didn't know why it was going off! Today I decided to be lazy and had a movie day with Liam and Josie :) I actually read while Liam watched movies and Josie played, I know I am a great babysitter!!! I actually got Liam to take a nap today so that was nice, hopefully that will mean he won't be crabby tomorrow! Okay well I don't really know anything so have a nice night!

It is a miracle, I actually have a cake done on time and with no problems!! I made Liam a Lightening McQueen cake for his birthday! It was my first attempt at a 3D cake, I think I did pretty good! I also got to practice a few different things on it, like I painted his name, and I got to work with fondant. I am happy with how it turned out so that is good! I hope he likes it. It isn't very big so not everyone will be able to eat cake but that is okay! In 15 minutes the Olympics are going to be on so I am going to watch that and curl my hair! I know what a surprise, I am actually going to fix my hair!! The reason I always like extensions is because I liked my hair curled and now that it is finally long I can do it again! Okay I will see many of you this evening!!

Destined to not make a cake!!

Hello! Well I was going to update today with a picture of Liam's birthday cake after I was done making it, well it is going to have to wait! This morning when I woke up I found a note in our door saying that due to a water leak the water was shut off on our road for around 8 hours starting at 9 AM!! Now you may be wondering why this would affect my cake baking well, I have to wash the dishes because there are some in there that I need plus I need water for the cake!! So I guess I will bake it as soon as they turn the water back on and decorate it tomorrow!! Good thing I have until 4:00 PM tomorrow to get it done. Looks like another last minute cake!! I must have subconsciously known the water was going to be shut off because I took a shower last night which I never do!! I did it so I could get started on the cake right away this morning, oh well! Okay well I am going to go be lazy now that my plans are ruined!

Family Feud!

Our snow piles are starting to get really high! Behind the garage we have run out of places to throw the snow and it is getting to high for us to throw it!!

Well Monday morning I got up at 5:00 and went to Waseca to babysit! It went pretty good, other than Liam and Josie started to get crabby last night so then I started to get crabby! Then my pants ripped in the knee (not my new ones) and then I had to unbury my car, good thing I had boots in my car! I got home around 8:30 so I managed to catch the tail end of biggest loser. Oreo missed me lots, so much so that she decided to wake me up at 3:30 and not leave me alone because she wanted to cuddle, and be feed. I was not happy with her at all!! I even woke up Jese when I was yelling at her to stop scratching the tv!! 

Today I don't plan on doing much! I have decided that I am not going to write where I am going to be or where Jese is going to be until after it has happened. I decided to do that because it isn't very wise to write when you are going to be alone or when your house is going to be empty on the internet!! I also tend to panic at night when Jese is gone sometimes :) So until next time, have a great day!

Hello! Jese just called me with a story! He was getting gas and some guy came up to him and told him he was stranded and could he have $6.00, so Jese gave it to him because he was scared!! He is no longer going to get gas in the cities at night time! I am sure he will give you a much more detailed story on his blog, I am going to bed now so that is all you are getting from me!

Hello! Today has been a cleaning day! My friends are coming over tonight so that meant I HAD to make the house look nice! Alls I have left is putting away the clean dishes and vacuuming! I can't vacuum until Jese gets up though so that will have to wait for awhile. I also paid all of our bills for the month today so now I don't have to think about those until next month again! I am almost out of Christmas stamps, I think I have 5 left! Kipper is mad at me right now because I won't let him sit on my stomach. Cleaning makes me hungry!! I am hungry now but I don't feel like cooking anything and we are out of leftovers!! We never run out of leftovers but I have been eating them too so now we ran out! I am excited for tomorrow because we are having fresh mozzarella sandwiches, yum!! Those are my favorite sandwiches!! Okay well I don't really know anything still so I guess I will go make some soup or something!

Well it is that time of the year again! I am craving to go camping!! My computer screen goes through all of my pictures and whenever I see our camping pictures I get cravings to be there!! I don't know anything today!

Last night I searched the whole house looking for Oreo and a few hours later I found her sleeping on all of our clean clothes!!

When I folded the clothes she was mad at me because she wanted to sleep on them more!!

Hello! I don't know much today. I just did laundry and wandered around a bit! I could find at 11 baby fish today, the other two could be hiding, it is hard to count them since they are all swimming around!! I just got done making lasagna, now it is in the oven! I am excited for it!! I didn't make it the normal way that mom used to make it. I got a recipe from my friend Liz, she made it for us at the last girl's weekend! I hope it turns out as good as hers, I had to use a little bit of 6-blend italian cheese in addition to the mozzarella because I forgot to thaw two bags of the mozzarella! We had to have the tv guy come again today because our tv is still losing connection occasionally! Hopefully it works now since this is about the 5th time they have been here!! While he was here I sat with Kipper in the study and played The Sims! I traveled to Paris! Okay well I am going to go reread The Host now!

Oh yes, so far we are doing good at not spending any extra money this month! Our toilet seat cover broke but Jese managed to fix it instead of just going to go buy a new one!! He is such a handyman!! Okay that is all for today!

Donuts, Donuts for Sale!!

Hello! This weekend was a fun one! On Saturday I went back to the cities to sell donuts, it was lots of fun again! After that we stopped at Boonies for a pizza and drink, yum-o! On Sunday Jese and I went to the archery range for a little bit. After that we went to dad's house. He made us some hot dogs, they were really good! Once Ben and Jessica got home we played poker, that was lots of fun too! Today Jese and I stayed BUSY!! He didn't get up until 11:30 but once he did finally get up we didn't stop doing stuff! First we went to the grocery store, we spent an average of $45 per week for the whole month, that is pretty good!! Once we got back home Jese did his homework and I put everything away. Then we decided to put all of the baby fish in the big fish tank and put that fish tank in the basement. We had a total of 13 baby fish! As of right now they are still living so that is good! Once we brought the baby fish tank to the basement we decided to clean down there. We brought a bunch of stuff to the attic so now the basement isn't so crowded! Then I had to clean the study since the fish tank was taken out of there! Then we made BLT's, they were delicious!! Now we are watching the movie UP! Okay that is all for now!
