The poor angels need to cheer up. They have been crying so much their tears have found their way into our basement!! Today I went downstairs and discovered that we got a little bit of water in there, not too much though so it isn't a big deal!

This morning I got up at 7:00 so I could make Jese pancakes for breakfast! Then he mowed the lawn for me! I just got done making m&m cookies, yum! I am almost done with the laundry. It is taking a little bit longer today because it isn't very warm out so they aren't drying very fast. I had to wait awhile before I could wash a load because all 4 lines were full of clothes drying!! Now I am just doing a few blankets then I will be done! Jese just left for work. Only 3 more days until we go up north, yeah!!! Jese is super excited to go up. He has been working extra hard to get all of his homework done so he doesn't have to do it up there.

I wish the clouds would go away, I want it to be sunny out so Kipper and I can sit outside this afternoon. I am going to make home made mac-n-cheese tonight for my supper since last night I had ice cream, hehe!! I don't eat very good suppers when Jese is at work but I really wanted mac-n-cheese yesterday but I got sucked into a book and before I knew it, it was 7:00!! So ice cream it was! I can't do that tonight because I finished the ice cream yesterday. I thought about going to the farm today to get some more but I decided not to. The neighbors are driving me nuts because they have raspberry bushes and all of the raspberries are ripe and they aren't picking them!! I just want to go take them all and make more jam because I am pretty much addicted to making jam now! Okay well I have to fold and iron some clothes now.

Hello!! This week has been busy!! On Thursday I babysat Liam and Josie, I didn't get home until 11:00 PM!!! On Friday I went to Faribault to get some rhubarb for jam. When I got home I made one batch of that, then I went to Waseca. Amy was having a Thanksgiving dinner in June!! It was really good but we got interrupted by the storms Mom and Rick left early and we hung out in the basement for awhile! Once the storm passed Jese and I went home and I went to bed! So far today I have gone to the farmer's market and bought raspberries and I just got done making more rhubarb jam and raspberry jam!! Once Jese gets home we are going to go to Menard's and buy a freezer because ours is full and it is just going to keep getting fuller!! Okay I have lots of cleaning to do!

Hello!! Yesterday was BUSY!! When I got up Jese and I went for a half an hour run, it was super hot. Then I took a shower and then we went to ACE Hardware for clotheslines. Once we got those tied on I started the laundry. It was so hot out everything was drying super fast! I did the laundry until 3:00, and left at 3:15 to go to dads. Him, Amy, Liam, Josie, and I went and picked strawberries! It was so hot doing it! We picked 6 flats, so about 65 lbs of strawberries!!! I got home at 8:00, took a shower, made stir fry, watched some tv and then went to bed! Now I need to go to store to get stuff to make strawberry jam, so off I go!!

Hello! First off, happy birthday papa! Well I did it! I finished the half marathon on Saturday! I am very proud of myself, this year went much better, even though my time still is pretty bad! I didn't start to walk until between 7 and 8 miles!!! That is the longest I have ever ran without walking. I am happy with how I did. For the last 3 miles I was in pain and walked a lot, I really had to push myself to keep going. Mom did really good too!! After we were done running we went back to the campsite and I ate 1 lb of New York Strip Steak, it was sooo good!! Then we rested for a little bit then we went dancing!!! When we were done dancing we ate at Grandma's restaurant, then we went back to the campsite! I am not nearly as sore as I was last year but I am still a little sore. Okay well I have to start doing some cleaning now!

Good morning! Today is going to be a busy day. I have to do all of the laundry, go to the farm, go grocery shopping, and pack for Duluth. Tomorrow I am going up to Duluth for Grandma's Half Marathon, eek!! Seeing as I have ran only once since I did the half marathon last year we will see how good I do! That is on Saturday morning. Jese is going to come up this year and watch me and cheer me on! Okay well I must get started on everything.

Up North 2001

Hello! I just got done eating freashly picked strawberries! They were delicous!! I got them at the farmers market this morning. Last night some of our friends came over, thankfully the rain held out until this morning so we were able to have a fire. We also grilled out. Jese and I had a New York Strip Steak from the farm and it was the best steak I have ever had!! It was delicous!!! I will definatly be buying more of them. Right now Jese is just laying on the couch watching tv, he may have gone a little buck wild last night :) This afternoon we are going to Hanska for Sam's graduation party, hopefully it isn't rainy. Okay well that is all for today, have a great rest of your weekend!

Good morning! I just mopped the kitchen floor so now I am waiting for it to dry so I thought I would update my blog! I don't really know anything new today. I am going to make sugar cookies today and Jese is going to make banana bread/muffins. This afternoon some of our friends are coming over. Hopefully the icky weather goes away so we can have a fire. Well I guess I really don't know anything!

Lets Go Up North!

Hello! I don't know much today. I am using the desktop right now and I have no pictures on here so I just plugged in the external harddrive and picked a picture off of that! Jese and I finally planned our vacation for the summer. We are going up north from July 1-11th! That will be lots of fun. Jese hasn't been able to be up there for that long in a long time, probably since Amy's wedding! He will have to come back for one day though because he has to go to his classes, otherwise they will fail him, jerks don't they know it is summer! I am making fajitas out of my mexican cookbook for supper tonight. I decided to get everything chopped up and ready to go so tonight I just have to fry up the meat! In the salsa there is a jalapeno pepper and I must have touched my mouth after cutting it because my lips really started to burn! They are finally starting to feel a little better, but man they sure did burn for awhile! Last night Oreo pushed a screen off a window and escaped! Jese found that out this morning when he got up and let Kipper out and Oreo was sitting under the steps waiting to come back in!! Poor kitty, she gets very scared outside when there are any type of noises so I imagine she didn't have a very nice night! Good thing it wasn't Pizza that did it because she probably wouldn't have been sitting there waiting to come in, she likes to explore to much! Okay well I don't know much else, have a nice rainy day!

This is what I just had for supper, it was delish! I even ate the tomatoes!!! That is like a first for me! It only took 10 minutes to make! It had garlic, red chili pepper, basil leaves, diced tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and noodles in it, yummy!! It sounds like it would be plain but it had lots of flavor!

Hello! I don't know much today. So far today I have swept, put away the dishes, dusted, vacuumed, made laundry detergent, and started the laundry! I don't know what I will do the rest of the day. Yesterday my rain gauge had almost 3" of rain in it!! I don't think that can be right, it didn't rain for very long, but it was down pouring so maybe it is. Either way it rained quite a bit but not for very long. Yesterday, Jese and I went to Bargain Betty's so I could get some summer clothes because I never have any. I got 5 dresses, 3 skirts, and 2 shirts, all for just $115! That averages to be $11.50 per item, that is pretty cheap seeing as the clothes are pretty much new! Now I am set for the summer :) Okay well I don't really know anything else, have a nice day!
