What a good feeling!

Today I paid off my highest interest student loan, yea!! Of course I still have a long ways to go before the rest of them are paid off but at least the high interest one is done. Kipper and I have been outside since 10:00 this morning! I have just been reading out there, it is quite nice out! I came in to give Kipper a break from the sun and so he could have a drink of water. I am supposed to be doing stuff, like the dishes, paying bills, and folding the last load of laundry, but that can all wait right! I will have all day Saturday to do that! Oh yea, I was also going to bake my cake for this weekend today but oh well, that can wait until Saturday also!! Okay well I am going to go to the bathroom and then go back outside!!

Hello!! I had to many options for blog titles today, so I just put all of them!! I will start out with the first one! Yesterday morning when I got up the toilet was plugged so I tried fixing it, that didn't work. Jese said we need a new plunger because ours sucked so we got one. Well he thought he fixed it. When I got home today it was plugged again!! I don't know everything that happened on Saturday night in there but I am guessing something went down that doesn't want to stay down! So now it is plugged and Jese won't be home until 10:00 tonight to fix it again (and he left a little present in there so I won't be trying to fix it)

On to my next blog title, today while babysitting a fell all the way down the stairs while carrying Josie and yes she was fine, I was not!! I am pretty sure my entire leg is going to be bruised, along with my side and arm.

Next up, it is so nice out right now! I had my car window open the whole way home! I now have some of my house windows open, which the kittens love!! Which brings me right up to my last title. With the windows open I discovered one of the screens didn't want to stay in! Pizza and Oreo were sitting in the window an pop went the screen! So I quick jumped up and grabbed Pizza before she could make her escape, which she would have and she is no fun to catch, we have done it before! 

That brings me up to right now! I just started the laundry, we have quite the load to do since we couldn't do it for a week!! So I better get back to that!

Hello! Last night was lots of fun! All of the girls had a good time and I have no hangover! In case you were wondering why I am wearing a dress it is because Alicia made me! I was wearing something else but she made me change, and being the good MOH I am, I changed for her! Last night before I went to bed I cleaned everything up so today I don't have to, yea! Good thing to because I have had enough of cleaning for awhile. I don't really know much. My hair is wet so I should probably go dry it!! Oh yea, Jese is done with overnights, yea!!!! We are going to have a fire tonight to celebrate, and we might go to El Tequila because I am really craving an enchilada!!

We finally have new neighbors, and I got my wish!! They aren't old people, yea!! They are around the same age as us, it is a girl and her boyfriend. Last night they had a bunch of people over but I never heard them so that is good! I talked to the girl yesterday and she said that right now they are just remodeling and they are hoping to be all moved in by the end of April. I think her dad is doing a lot of the work because he was here yesterday working and he got here right away this morning to start again! 

Right now I am just waiting for a cake to finish baking, then it is finally time for me to grocery shopping for Alicia's bachelorette party! I ran out of time yesterday.  Kipper seems so sad today, I think it is because the sun isn't out and he likes to lay in the sunshine. Or maybe he knows he is going to spend half the night in his kennel.

Okay well I better get moving since this party is tonight and I am not ready yet!!

Hello! I think I am going through the stages of acceptance backwards. Earlier this week when our drain in the basement backed up I was in the final stage, the acceptance stage, well today I have moved back to the denial stage!! We have had no luck unplugging it so now it is time for the professionals. I called the people Rick told us to call, well bad new there. They used to have an office out of Le Sueur but now they just have one in Mankato. That means they won't just come with a camera and look to see if we have a broken pipe or a clog, no they will only come and attempt to clean it out, costing us between $350-400!! So that is a no-go since we aren't 100% it is a clog or a broken pipe. So after that phone call I have gone into denial. I am just going to pretend that I can still use the kitchen sink and do the dishes, and I am just going to eat M&M cookies because they solve everything. 

Today is cleaning day, I have to get the house ready for Alicia's bachelorette party, even if that means backing up the drain so our basement floor gets wet again. Yesterday I babysat, that was pretty easy! Jese and I also babysat on Tuesday, that was easy too! I don't really know much, that is why I haven't updated in a few days. I guess I will just go wash my dishes with very little water now!

Hello! This weekend was lots of fun! On Thursday I went to the Cheese Cave for the pre-wedding party! Then Dad, Rita, Ben, Jessica, and I went to the Depot and Joe's, that was lots of fun! I managed to get all of the cakes done by 3:00 on Thursday so that was a relief! Friday was wedding day!! Jese and I got there a little early because we had to bring the cakes. I was happy everyone liked them, that is what I love about making cakes, peoples reactions! It makes spending 5 days on cakes worth it when you have people tell you how good they are and how good they taste!! I had lots of fun at the wedding, but my feet did get a little sore from my tall shoes!! On our way home we got pulled over 3 times!! Two of those times was less than 5 minutes apart! Since we were driving around bar close we got pulled over in 3 out 4 towns we drove through! The last time was a block away from our house. The only reason we got pulled over was because the headlight is out because of it getting hit last week. We have an appointment to get the car fixed tomorrow. Yesterday I did absolutely nothing! I decided I wanted to read all day, so that is what I did! I read the newest Jodi Picoult book, it was good but not as good as her other books. I figured it right away, but that is okay I still liked it! Today is cleaning day, but I am stalled until Jese gets up and rents us a snake. Our drain in the basement has backed up so I can't wash the dishes until he gets it unplugged. It first got backed up yesterday when he did some laundry, he dumped some drain-o down it but that didn't work. On the plus side, our basement stopped leaking, now we just need to get the puddles dried up! We haven't been able to because Jese broke our mop and I got sick of having the fans on while it was still leaking so I shut them off! I turned them back on last night and it is pretty close to being dry! Okay well that is all for today.

Hello! The last two days have been BUSY!! Yesterday I spent the morning in Faribault, I had to get my dress for Alicia's wedding fitted and then I went out to eat with Papa. While I was there Jese was baking one more cake and he crumb-coated two cakes for me! When I got back the decorating started. We ended the night behind schedule. I wanted to get 5 cakes done each day and we only got 4 done!! I did spend half the night making flowers though. I went to bed around 11:00. This morning I accidentally slept until 9:30 so I got another late start. Jese helped me for a little bit but he had to go to work and school. He did help me big time by bringing three cakes to Dad and Rita's to be put in their fridge since mine can't hold 15 cakes! I ended up getting 5 more cakes done today and 1 crumb-coated for tomorrow! I had my first casualty, I broke a layer in half! Good thing I had an extra cake!!! I have also ran out of powdered sugar. I will have Jese pick some up tonight after his class. Tomorrow will be super busy. I have to finish the last 5 cakes and go to Faribault in the evening. I am going to bring Amy 3 cakes for her to put in her fridge also! On Friday morning I have to go shopping to get some jewelry for the wedding and I have to drop off all of the cakes, and then it is wedding time! I won't put up any pictures of cakes until the wedding is over because I don't want anyone to see them until then! Okay that is all for tonight, I have to take out the garbage now!

Does this make me a crazy cat lady??

Help! The cats have taken over the bathroom!! I sometimes put my dirty towel in the sink when I get ready to keep my hair out of the sink. Well Pizza likes to lay in it when I do that and yesterday Oreo discovered it too! Now I can't keep them out of the sink!!! Even without the towel in it Oreo sleeps in it!! I just use the kitchen sink whenever they are in it now!

Sad, sad news...our basement is getting water in it :( Jese tore out the floor today so it wouldn't get moldy under it. he numbered all of them so we can put it back down once we fix the leaking problem!! It is a good thing he took it out because once he did we discovered there was way more water under it than we thought!!! 

I finished baking all of the cakes for dad and Rita's wedding today. Now there are 15 cakes, or 30 layers in my fridge! Needless to say we have no room for regular food!! I don't know what I am going to do with them once I start frosting and decorating them. My original plan was to put them out in the garage on a table but now that it is 50 degrees out that won't work!! I will probably have to drive them all over Minnesota to store them in people's fridges until Friday!! 

Last night I fell asleep on the couch at 8:30, at 10:00 I finally decided to go to bed! Then I couldn't fall asleep!! Oh well, technically I slept in this morning because I got up at 9:00, but really it would have been the same time I always get up when I don't babysit! Okay that is all for today!

My Poor Car...

My car has been defiled!! Yesterday I was babysitting for Amy and since she has to park in her driveway now that the ground is soft I had to park on the road. Well the demon on her road decided it was time for me to have my car hit! Her neighbor was late to work so he backed out of his driveway to fast and ran right into my car!! He had a super big truck so of course he didn't even scratch his truck but smashed my car pretty good! When I checked the light it didn't work but then halfway home it decided to turn on. Then my car looked drunk because it was shinning directly into the other lane instead of straight!! I felt pretty stupid driving like that!! Now I look like the bad driver when really I wasn't even in the car when it happened, jerk!! I knew the cop that came to file the report, I graduated with him! So that makes 5 cars hit in that exact spot since Amy has moved there, she better hurry up and move. 

Okay I have no more time to waste, I have to start baking cakes now!

I love thunderstorms!!!

This morning I woke up to the most wonderful noise, thunder!! I miss storms! Thankfully our basement still hasn't leaking, we are keeping our fingers crossed so it doesn't start. That is the bad part of buying a house that was foreclosed and then flipped because the previous owners didn't have it long enough to know if it floods! All of the snow surrounding the house is gone, alls that is left is what is in the front and back yards. It is raining out super hard right now :) 

Today Rita came to my rescue and is babysitting the kids for me so I can stay home and get better. Yesterday I was the worst babysitter ever! Liam played on the computer the whole day and I just let Josie do whatever she wanted, which was mostly play in their tent and play with Remi! I watched tv all day! This morning my throat feels better but my nose is still super stuffy and my ears are still plugged up :( Okay well that is about all I know.

Hello! Last night I didn't sleep so good. I woke up at 3:30 with the entire right side of my head plugged up, my ear, my nose, and my throat! I ended up getting up at 8:00. By 10:30 Jese was finally ready for the day so we went to Walmart to get supplies for cakes. We also visited Dad and went to his house to get some meat! Once we got home we made a pizza for lunch. Then I changed the sheets and vacuumed and that is about it! I have been getting stuffier and stuffier as the day goes on :( Jese has been practicing making flowers, he made roses just out of frosting! They look very nice, he is such a betty crocker! Now he is making me some eggs and I am watching Massive Moves with Kipper. Okay well I am cold and miserable so I must go now!

Yea, warm weather!

Hello! This weekend was a fun one! Saturday morning I went up to the MOA with Amy and Mother to get me a dress for Dad and Rita's wedding! I got the first dress I tried on! I also got the cutest shoes ever!!! I also got Kipper a new bark collar, now he is like a mute puppy :) Saturday night Jese and I went to Waseca and went out to eat at Starfire with the family for Mom and Rick's wedding celebration. Then we went bowling, I sucked really bad!!! It was lots of fun. On Sunday Jese and I had a super lazy day. I woke him up at 9:00 and we started our Saw marathon! We watched all 6 Saw movies, it took us all day long! We also went to DQ, but first we locked ourselves out of the house, thankfully it was super easy to break into! Today I just babysat all day, it was easy, both kids were in a good mood. Okay well that is all I know for today!

Oh yes, I do have the greatest husband, not only did Jese do all of the dishes, he also picked up all of the dog poop that has collected over the winter!!!

Really, now this is getting ridiculous!

Hello! Yesterday Jese got up early so we decided to explore downtown. We went to Bargain Betty's and found Jese a nice shirt for Jese, I think we will just get all of his work shirts from there from now on unless we find them super on sale at stores! Most of the button-up shirts are $9.99 so that is cheaper than most places. Then we went to all of the decor, crafty stores! I found a cute bracelet! Then we decided to try Jimmy's Pizza, it was pretty good!  

It was so nice to sleep in this morning! I got up at 8:00, earlier than I used to but later than 5:45 like I have been. Today I finished organizing our pantry and bathroom stuff. We finally got some storage in the bathroom so I had to move everything into there! Once I did that I had more room for my cookie cutters so I organized them by holiday! I combined a few holidays so I wouldn't have to use 8 bags, instead I just used 5! I have way over 100 cookie cutters!! I also moved my cookbooks because they were taking up too much room and I didn't have enough room for all of my serving dishes. I also found room for all of my cake decorating supplies! I still haven't done the dishes because I hate doing them. I just got done folding the laundry I washed yesterday. I really like my homemade laundry detergent, the clothes are much softer! I also switched from dryer sheets to one of the things you just put on the dryer drum and it lasts for 2 months, I like that much better too, even though it isn't cheaper than dryer sheets unless you have a coupon! Right now I am watching Gilmore Girls since I was folding laundry. Kipper wants to cuddle so I will probably watch one more episode, oh now Pizza wants to cuddle too!

Hello! Right now I am supposed to be babysitting but instead I am sitting at home! I was there this morning but with a change of plans I got to come home! I am also staying home tomorrow :) I am very pleased about this because now I get to sleep in. 

It is so nice out today! I decided to sit outside with Kipper and I read for a little bit but then I decided to move his tie-out for him! Then I had to watch him because he was funny! He will never walk on the snow and today he finally decided it was okay to do it, good thing he is so light and the snow is so heavy so he didn't fall through! Now I am just trying to decide what to do, I could clean, do the dishes, or be lazy...I think I will go for the later one and do the rest tomorrow! Okay well on with my day.

Good Bye Snow!!

I am so happy the snow is finally melting!! Our yard is getting very muddy!! But on the plus side our basement hasn't flooded yet! Today was not a good day at all!!! Josie got Liam's cold and she was not happy about it. All day long no matter what I did she cried :( Poor Liam got no attention because of her so then he got super crabby. I normally have him take a nap at 1:00 but by 11:30 I was going nuts so then I sent him to bed! Josie went shortly after that and thankfully she took a nap. After Liam woke up Remi decided to puke in the living room, gross! Then Josie decided to wake up! Thankfully they were both a little less crabby. Josie was still crying a lot but not as much. About an hour before I got to leave she got in a much better mood and played with toys and I read! This week I have just been babysitting, nothing exciting. Jese has been very nice and did the dishes for me and today he made up my supper for me before he left so I just had to pop it into the oven! It is almost done, I am having mac-n-cheese. Okay well that is enough for today.

Oh yes, I found out today that the neighbors house didn't sell, the bank must have sent someone in to clean it up and then relisted it under a different real estate agent, it is cheaper now too!
