Closet: Finished!

Yeah, after over a year we finally have shelfs in our closet!!! All of Jese's work shirts aren't in it right now because they need to ironed from laying on the ground! I designed the closet and Jese put it together for me! It only took him 1 hour to do it and he only said damn once when he broke his drill bit!!! I still need to get baskets for our socks because I forgot to today so right now we just have them hanging in a bag! I also have a bunch of dirty laundry that still needs to be put away, hopefully it all fits!

Night 2: SUCCESS!!!

Yeah, last night was a success! We started out with putting Kipper right into his kennel and we didn't hear a peep from him all night! Even when I got up to go to the bathroom he didn't make a sound! Jese said when he got up he heard him whine a little but that is it!!! Of course now we have a new trouble maker and their name is Oreo!! She has decided that since Kipper is out of the bed she belongs there! She slept where my pillow belongs almost all night! She was about 2" away from my face and she stared at me for quite awhile, jerk! The problem with her is that she is a big baby and if I kicked her out she would just meow all night long, so the only other option is to shut the door but since we have no heat vent in our room we freeze! So I had no choice but to let her sleep with me. I think she is just getting old and lonely since Pizza hardly ever plays with her any more. I slept so good last night though, it was nice! I however, did not sleep as good as Jese, he took Nyquil and slept like a rock, I was jealous, I wish I could take Nyquil sometimes!!

Okay I have to go eat my grapefruit and take a shower so we can go to Menards!

Oh yes, I am so happy the snow is melting today! Christmas is over which means it is time for the snow to all go away!

Night 1: Success...kind of!

Well last night went okay with kicking Kipper out of bed. He was sleeping on the couch (in the bedroom) really good until Jese came home. Then he started whining a bunch. He kept laying down next to my side of the bed and whining and keeping me awake! Jese of course slept through most of it. Around 4:00 I finally got sick of it and put him in his kennel!! I shoot the doors so I couldn't hear him if he barked, I don't think he did though. So now I decided we will just put him in his kennel at night, poor puppy! It was nice sleeping without any puppy legs kicking me though! 

My ear is super plugged right now, it is annoying! Every night after one of my potty breaks I get stuffy and my ear plugs up, it normally clears up by morning but today it didn't :( Also I can't figure out if I should make my bed harder or softer because it has been killing my back, no matter what I do to it I just can't get comfortable, stupid bed!! The couch is comfy, maybe I will just sleep on that all the time!

I am going to eat a grapefruit for breakfast, they are so good! I ate 2 of them yesterday, I probably could have ate 20!! Yesterday I made tater tot hotdish for supper, it was super yummy! I don't know what I will make tonight yet.

Tomorrow we are going to go to Menards and get shelving for our closet because it is on sale and we need it! Hopefully Jese can put it all up, last time he had troubles :) Okay I am hungry now, time for a grapefruit!

Ice Dams

Not our roof!

Good morning!! Yesterday Jese didn't have enough time to finish cleaning off the roof so this morning he woke me up banging on it! I think he is almost done, hopefully! He lost his big hammer so he is using my little hammer I use around the house, hehe!! I had a dream about where his hammer was last night, to bad it wasn't true. 

Yesterday I spent the whole day cleaning! I took down all the Christmas decorations and then hauled them upstairs. I nearly dropped the tree down the stairs because I was dragging it up and couldn't pull it any higher! Then I had to clean up the living room from all the fake snow that fell off of my snow babies! It is all back to normal now, but the walls look super empty. This morning when I got up I got to vacuum again because one of the cats (Oreo) decided to know over one of my plants, jerk! 

Last night was Kippers last night in bed, he is driving me nuts!!! He keeps laying as close as he can to me and then kicks me all night, I have had enough!!! He can sleep on the couch tonight, I want my bed back!! 

Today I have to clean the kitchen and do the laundry. A bunch of laundry is already done but not folded because I did it during Christmas, I imagine it is all pretty wrinkly. Okay I am going to go eat a grapefruit now!

Hello! Christmas was lots of fun this year! It started last Saturday at Mom and Rick's house. We had some delish pizza that Rick made. We announced we were going to have a baby for the first time, yeah! Mom and Rick got us all some beef and pork, what a great gift! 

This weekend we had lots of Christmas's. On Friday we went to Mom and Rick's again, this time for the Rugroden Christmas. We went to church and then had ham for supper. We played dirty bingo, it was lots of fun.

On Christmas day we first went to Faribault for the Peltz Christmas. We had ham there too, it was also yummy! After that we went to the Becker Christmas, we had a P.J themed Christmas this year. The food there was good too! 

Yesterday we went to Dad's for his Christmas. We got there early enough for breakfast, we had french toast casserole, yum! Then we opened our presents, Dad and Rita gave us chicken, deer meat, and a big box of fruit! Our freezer is plump full now! We played outside in the snow and played games too. For lunch we had delish turkey that Dad deep fried and some mashed potatoes!

Right now Jese is outside banging away at all the ice on our roof, there is a lot! We discovered an ice dam in the back of the kitchens roof. He also pulled all the snow off. I am going to take down all the Christmas decorations today and clean the house. Have a nice day everyone!

Coming August 2011

Yeah!!! Finally after 2 1/2 years, Jese and I are expecting a baby!!! It has been a VERY long journey to get pregnant and we couldn't have gotten a better Christmas present! We found out 5 years and 1 day after we got engaged, on December 4th! It was super hard to keep it a secret but we decided it would be best to wait awhile to tell anyone because I was afraid since it was so hard to actually get pregnant that it wasn't actually true!! We were going to wait until Christmas to tell everyone but Jese couldn't hold it in any longer so we told our family a little earlier. We had an ultrasound done last week and everything looks great so far! The rest of our families found out at Christmas, everyone was very excited. We have another ultrasound in the middle of January, after that one I think I will believe it even more, I am still having troubles with that! I think if I was getting sick and feeling awful I would believe it more (I know now I will get sick since I said that) So far I have only been tired and have had sore (and growing) boobs :) My due date is August 14th, 3 days after Jese's birthday and 4 days after his grandma's, and it is Cassie and Nick's anniversary!

Hello!! Last night our neighbor snow blowed our sidewalk, path, and driveway, that was nice of him! I am assuming it was our old neighbor because he has done the sidewalk before. Anyways I am taking a Blog Christmas Break. I will be back next Monday to give you all the Christmas updates!!

Oh the weather outside is frightful!

Hello! Like every time I have to babysit, it was snowing out yesterday! I left super early so Amy would have enough time to get to work, it only took me 5 extra minutes!! I guess I thought the roads were going to be worse, oh well! I colored with Liam and Josie yesterday, they liked it! Liam kept telling me he was going to teach me how to color, apparently he didn't like how I was doing it! I was going to call mom and see what she was having for supper and go steal some from her but then I remembered that she had training yesterday and didn't get home until 8:00! So I just went home instead. Last night was Jese's last day of class for this semester, yeah!! 

Just a friendly reminder, please no phone calls or text messages after 8:00 to me or Jese (unless you know Jese is driving home from work) Nothing bugs me more than when I am just falling asleep and my phones goes off or when we are watching a movie and we have to stop it for a phone call!! If it isn't an emergency it can wait until morning people!! 

Kipper is in a fight with me right now because last night I made him sleep on Jese's side of the bed instead of in the middle because he kept laying underneath my back, it was very irritating! So now he is snuggling with Jese instead of me on the couch because he is mad, poor puppy!! If he would just leave me alone at night he could stay in the middle! 

Jese is coming down to babysit with me today. Liam is super excited to see him! Tomorrow we have Mom and Rick's Christmas!!! I am excited, I love Christmas!!

Hello! Today is Jese and mine wedding anniversary. We have been married 3 years now and together for almost 7 years (I think) Jese is working today, that is okay though because we don't ever do anything for our anniversary. I am making roast for supper, I know super romantic! 

Our house is so dry right now, my face is peeling off like it is sunburned! A couple days ago I even got a bloody nose! Of course that isn't that unusual for me :)

Snowed In

Our house after the snow storm! If you look very closely you can see Kipper trying to get in the front door, he is terrified to be in the front yard because he doesn't know how far he can walk without getting shocked!!

Hello! Well we survived the snow storm!! Jese got to call in to work yesterday because part of his route to work was still closed so he got a 4 day weekend!! Today he doesn't really have to work either, he just has training so that means he will be home for supper! Yesterday we didn't do much. I read, I am reading Raising Jake right now, it was free and it is pretty good. I don't know what I will do today. All of the laundry is done, the dishwasher is running, and the rest of the house is clean! This never happens, I think it is because Jese and I were both home all weekend so we kept it clean! Oh yes, the other night Jese said he wanted to finish reading his book but he was falling asleep, so he stood up and read!!! What a loser, he is addicted to reading now, he does it all time!! Jerk Oreo just knocked down my lego Mrs. Claus that came in my stocking one year! Now I am going to have to put it back together, jerk! Oh yeah, I put plastic on the upstairs windows on Saturday since it was so windy and cold. It stays toasty warm up there with our one heat vent now!! Okay well I guess I really don't know anything since I have been snowed in all weekend!

Living In a Snow globe: Part 2

Hello! It is snowing out tons and it is super windy out!! It is a snow day for sure, yeah!! We don't have anything to do today besides fold the last 3 load of laundry (yes I managed to get it all done yesterday) and I am also going to put up my snowbabies for real today! Yesterday I told Jese that he either had to take down the fish tank in the living room or clean it. I was hoping he would take it down because I am sick of it, instead he cleaned it and bought more fish for it, jerk! At least it is clean now. I think I am just going to read all day, and maybe play some board games with Jese, that would be fun. Kipper is laying under a blanket on the couch and just started to growl, I hate when he does that, and he does it ALL the time! I think he wants Christmas music put on and that is why he is doing it! Okay I am going to go fold the last of the laundry, put it away and start my snow day!!

Oh yes, remember way back in 2005 when I first got facebook and it was just college students on it. Now it is full of EVERYONE. I find it quite amusing to read the drama that goes on now! It used to be just a place for people to stay in touch (which is how I like it) but now people like to put all of their personal drama on it!! It is just that people, PERSONAL!!! Share it with those that are close to you, not the entire world! Don't get me wrong, I love tuning in everyday to see what is happening in everyones life, hahaha, I am evil like that though :) I also like to see whats going on with my neighbors :)

Laundry Day (For Real This Time!)

Hello! Yesterday Jese came down with me to Amy's to babysit because Liam LOVES playing with him! He also had nothing better to do. After that he went straight to school, next week is his last week of class for this semester! While we were gone Kipper decided to pull his beggin' strips into his kennel and tear apart the bag and eat all of them. When I let him out he went straight to the water, he must have been dying of thirst!

 Today I am for sure going to do all of my laundry!!! Hopefully the drain from the washer decides to stay in the sink today and not spray across the entire basement like it did last time. I am also going to finally put out my snowbabies since I haven't gotten to it yet. I may also think about cleaning the kitchen if I have lots of extra energy! Okay I guess I better take a shower so I can start the laundry again!

Hello! This morning I had full intensions to do the laundry but then I got distracted by other stuff and didn't do it! I started a load around 10:00, but then didn't move it to the dryer until 3:15!!! I am super tired, a nap would have been wonderful today :) I babysat yesterday and I do again tomorrow, then I am done until next Thursday!! Oh wait, I am going down on Saturday too so Amy and Adam can go to their work party but Jese is coming with me so he will do all the work! I am just watching Jeopardy right now while I wait for the laundry to get done. Jese is bringing home El Tequila for supper tonight so I don't even have to cook!!! I LOVE El Tequila, I am pretty sure I could eat it every day. Jese said he is going to get my Christmas present tomorrow, then I will have to look at it for 17 days, that is a LONG time!! I hate waiting to open my presents!!

Hello! This weekend I spent Saturday in Rochester with all of my friends. We went out to eat at Victoria's, it was yummy! Then we went to the comedy club, Goonies. They opener guy was funnier than the main guy, but that always happens. After it was done Liz, Rosa, Alicia, and I went to Liz's house in Stockton and we spent the night there. Yesterday I got back around 11:30, I didn't do much all day. Today I paid the bills and made stir fry for lunch. I have to leave in 20 minutes to go to Amy's to babysit.

Living in a Winter Wonderland!

I made a snow angel last night!

Wow, we sure did get lots of snow yesterday!! As soon as Jese came home from school I forced him to go outside and take pictures so I could get our Christmas cards ordered. He just whined the whole time that he couldn't feel his fingers, baby, I was the one having to set up the camera! I climbed our tree and my shirt kept freezing to the branches!! When we came in we had some hot apple cider and tea. Jese decided he was going to be the male version of Betty Crocker and bake like crazy! He made chocolate covered pretzels, peanut butter blossoms, and spritz cookies. After he was done making all of those he made tacos for supper! After supper we bundled up and walked to the parade. We were the only ones there without kids so nobody gave us any candy! One nice man gave me a candy cane though, Jese said he must have thought I looked like a kid. The walk back was super cold because the snow was blowing in our faces, so I did the smart thing and walked backwards half of the way back! When we got to the house I decided to make a snow angel because all the little kids were before the parade!

Oh yeah, I told Jese he had to shovel the driveway before I leave so I don't get stuck and his reply was it was light snow so my car could go through it, it doesn't matter that there are at least 6" of new snow!!

Fast Food: No Thank You!

Yuck! Yesterday Jese brought me McDonald's for supper, I won't be eating it again that is for sure! After a forced it down my stomach instantly started hurting. So now the fast food I can eat without feeling sick is Dairy Queen (mostly just the ice cream!) Subway and A&W, all other places are out of the question, unless you want me to be sick! I don't know how we used to eat McDonald's all the time before. 

On another note, I found a kitten I MUST have. Anyone who is wondering what to get me for Christmas here is your answer. The wonderfully cute kittens name is Sylvester and he is Oreo's twin!! They even said he is already on the larger side, just like Oreo!! Here is his picture:

Holiday Parade!

I am so excited! Last year Jese and I couldn't go to the holiday light parade because we were busy. It is tomorrow night and we have nothing going on!! I am happy we get to go to it, hopefully it isn't to cold. I am watching the news right now and it said New Richland is giving away free land to get more people to move there! It cost about $25,000 to develop the property though, so really it isn't free. 

Today I was feeling better so Jese and I went grocery shopping. After doing to much I got super tired so I took a short nap and once I woke up I felt bad again. Now I am coughing lots, and my nose is runny again. I figured out Jese is to blame for me, mom and Amy for getting sick. He got sick from people at work and must have passed it on to me and I passed it on to Amy and Mom when we shared a root beer at Menards on black friday. Mom said I should divorce Jese, I said he could sleep on the couch tonight for being such a jerk and getting us all sick!

How to crochet when it is cold out...

Jese caught me crocheting with gloves on a few weeks ago! Since the picture I have cut the fingertips off the gloves and it works much better!

Hello! I am still sick, and so is my poor little puppy. He got sick again last night, this time it was when Jese came home from work and it was in the living room. I was sound asleep so Jese cleaned it all up. We have decided it is the new food I got him, so I just went and bought him his old food again. He seems much happier now, plus I gave him his big bone back! My replacement Kindle should be here within a few hours, yeah! I have lots of free Christmas books to read. Since I am sick and I don't feel like cooking tonight so I am marinating some chicken legs in some chicken hot wing sauce and I bought a frozen pizza, should be pretty easy to make tonight! Okay, I am going to watch last nights episode of Biggest Loser now.

Only 24 days until Christmas!

900th Post!

I am so sad, yesterday I came home from babysitting and our new kindle was on the porch. I was so happy to get it because then I wouldn't have to share with Jese anymore. Once I tried to set it up it decided it didn't want to work! They have to send me a new one, it will be here tomorrow. I wish I had it today, oh well, Jese said he would leave the old one here for me today. My nose, ears, and throat are all stuffy today.

Poor, Poor Kipper

Poor Kipper had a bad night last night. I woke up around 4:30 having to pee and I noticed Kipper wasn't sleeping and kept moving around. When I came back upstairs I found him on the floor throwing up everywhere!!! I had to turn on the light to get it cleaned up so that meant waking Jese up. Good thing I woke him up because Kipper also got sick in bed, and Jese rolled into it. It smelled so awful!!! I let Jese clean it up so I wouldn't throw up also, I changed the sheets while he cleaned it up. Once it was all clean, Kipper decided he needed to throw up once more in the living room. After that he slept the rest of the night, poor puppy. Jese decided since he was woke up he wouldn't set his alarm this morning, he didn't get up until almost 10:00!!!! What a lazy bum :)

It is Officially Christmas Season!

Hello! Last night I went to bed at 7:00!! I forgot to say that Jese decided to do housework yesterday. He fixed the window and kitchen light, he wanted me to write that! He also did the dishes, cleaned the bathroom and folded clothes today when I was gone!!! I worked in the donut wagon today with Dad. We stayed pretty busy so that was nice! I brought home 4 corn dogs for supper for Jese and I, they were delicious.

Black Friday Madness!

Hello!! I am super tired, but for good reason! Yesterday was a very good Thanksgiving, the food was a delish! I spent the night at Mom's house so we could go shopping. Spending the night is a little bit of an overstatement however! We went to bed at 9:00 PM and got up at 11:30 PM! Stores this year decided to open at midnight instead of at 4 or 5. Amy also came with us, we went to Walmart first. After that we drove to Mankato for lots of good deals. We went Old Navy first and stood in line for an hour to check out! I got Jese and I $5 PJ pants, we are wearing them right now. After that we were STARVING so we went to Perkins, we were there for 2 hours! They were super slow because they only had one waitress and one cook working and it was packed! After that we went to Target, Kohls, and Menards. We were in Menards for 3 hours!!! I got lots of good deals there though, I got 6 bags of dog/cat food for free after a mail-in rebate, and I got plastic to cover the windows free after a mail-in rebate also! After we were done shopping we went to Panara Bread for lunch, even though it was only 9:30 AM. Once we got back to Mom's I got the best deal EVER!! I got a Kindle for just $89!!! I got another one so Jese can have his own and quit taking mine all time. Mom was also trying to get it just in case I couldn't but she couldn't, hahaha!! I looked on Amazon's facebook page and hardly anyone was able to get them, I guess I was just super lucky! Jese drove me home because he was babysitting Liam and Josie while we shopped. Once we got home I looked at everything I bought then took a nap from 1:15-3:30. 

Now we (Jese) are decorating our tree. Jese put all the lights on and then I took them all of and redid it. Now I am sitting on the couch telling him where to put the ornaments because I am still super tired. My new angel I bought last year on sale is so pretty!! I hope I don't kill her like I kill all of my angels, that would be sad. I got lights for the house and our tree in the yard but we need to wait for our ladder to hang them up. (Cassie and Nick were borrowing it) Okay I am to tired to write more.

72 Years Today!

Today is Grandma and Grandpa Trenda's 72nd wedding anniversary!! Yesterday I went with Cassie and Nick to Northfield to have cake and celebrate with some of the family. It is nice to see them together after all these years still! They both looked very happy yesterday. One can only hope their marriage will last as long as theirs. Most couples these days are either widowed or divorced by their age! Can you imagine everything they have seen change since they were first married in 1938!! In 1938 Franklin D. Roosevelt was president, it was normal to have a stay-at-home wife, women had only been allowed to vote for the last 18 years, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was just released, War of the Worlds was aired terrifying people, not to mention it was still the Great Depression. I wonder what they think of everything that has changed since the day they got married.

I am obsessed!

I am addicted to my wonderful Kindle!! When I am on the computer I can't help but go on the Kindle Facebook page or look at all the books on Amazon!! So far I have read 82 books (I think) I was brave today and let Jese take it to work with him since he had no homework to do on his down time. Don't worry though, I can still read all my books on my computer so I am not without them, thank goodness!! The other day Jese came home and I was watching TV and reading at the same time (if he would have walked in a few minutes earlier I would have been on the computer also!) It is a good thing there are so many free books otherwise I would have spent a fortune on books! My latest obsession is books about the Amish, I got a couple free ones and loved them! One of them was part of a series so of course I had to buy the other 2 books in the series!! Now I have to restrain myself from buying anymore!
