A Change in Plans

Hello again! Well I decided to change my major. I just don't see myself as an accountant, it is to boring of a job for me. I have decided to change to Business Adminstraion but I am going to think about for a month or so before I do. If I do I will end up getting done next Fall because then I won't have to have extra credits to take the CPA exam because I won't be taken it anymore! Then until the fall of '09 Jese and I will be both working full time waiting for him to get into his masters program. Once we find out where that is I am going to start looking for schools that offer culinary classes and I am going to take some pastry/baking classes! Since I have always talked about opening my own store I decided that that is what I should do. When people try to figure out what they want to do with thier life they are supposed to look at what they like to do, and I like to bake and read, so I am going to eventually in my life time open up a bakery in Waseca because they don't have one yet! But if that doesn't work out I will always have my degree in Bus. Admin. to get me a job! Right now I am just like everyone and can bake okay so I am going to start making lots of new things, and I will even try one bite of everything, even if it has gross stuff in it!!! Today I did homework ALL day!! Right now I am class but I don't really need to pay attention, I never did last year with this professor and I got an A in the class so I am sure I will be fine! It doesn't get done for another 2 hours!!!! So far I have been here for an hour! Tonight I am making meat chunks, mashed potatoes, noodles, and gravey!! Well I guess I go, bye!!

Back for another week of school!

Hello! Well this weekend I went back home on thursday night so my car could be brought in to the co-op to be fixed friday morning, which my father did for me so nicely!! Friday night we all went up to Prior Lake to ashley's wedding which was very nice and lots of fun! We got back home around 1:00 AM!! Saturday I babysat Liam the whole day while Adam put up his duck blind! I also made chicken noodle soup, it was yummy! Then Amy and I went to mothers to get christmas houses!! Then I drove back to Faribo for the night! This morning I got up and finished my laundry and headed out back to wy-nooooona! I just got done unloading everything out of my car and sat down and checked my loan status for school and discovered that I put it for the whole year so I am only getting half of the money now and half next semester and that doesn't work for me because I need it all now so if anyone has $1,800 laying around send it my way! Well Jese is home for his lunch and I need to get some studying done before my tests on tuesday.

89 days!!

Hello!!! Well there are only 89 days left until the big day!!! There are still lots of things for me to do! On Friday when I go home for Ashley's wedding I am going to go to the baker in Waseca and find out about my cake and then I will go to Faribo and order the flowers, which I still don't really know what I want!! After that is all done the next thing to do will be get Jese's ring and get mine sized. I want to start writing out the invites so I don't have to do them all at the same time right before I have to mail them, which will be around the end of october! Sometime in October I also have to go home to meet with the caterer and discuss the decorations for the tables, etc. No idea when I am going to do that! The first weekend of october I have to go to Faribo to go to a church retreat that last ALL DAY!!!!
Yesterday I worked, it wasn't very exciting, I did lots of cleaning! Now I have today and Wednesday and Friday off, so just one more day this week and I am done until next week, yeepee!!! My loan still hasn't gone through for tuition, hope it hurries!!! Jese's is almost all the way through, his went faster though because he didn't need a co-signer and his name was spelled right so he didn't have to get that fixed like me, jerks!! They spelled my name with a K so I had to send in a copy of my drivers license so they can switch it, jerks! Jese has an interview today for a intership for next semester, hopefully he does good so he can be in the interview process, which is with the company I think, the one he has today is with a professor. I have 3 tests next week, one in my computer acct, one in intermediate acct., and one in intermediate stats, boring!!! Yum, someone is eating starburst next to me and they smell yummy!!!!! I want some! So I read the faribo paper today and noticed the cc boys didn't do so good, hehe, and what about the girls, are they running???? I guess having a volleyball couch as a cc couch doesn't help!! hehe, I am glad I am done with cross country, I don't miss it one bit! Well I guess I better go since we are going over a new computer program in stats!!
Peace out dudes!

Another weekend flies by!!

Hello again!! Well this weekend Jese and I both worked. You know this whole working and going to school thing isn't so bad, you wanna know why!! It makes me very tired and I sleep better than I have in years!! Every night I try and I try to stay awake until 11 so I can see Jese when he comes home from work, but every night I am out like a light by 10:30!!! On Saturday I was asleep before 10!!! So I ran out of my claritan two days ago and so today is my first totally allergy drug-free day! Yesterday I took afrin nasel spray because I had to work. So far it isn't to bad. I am a bit sniffly but nothing I can't handle!! Yeepee maybe I can stop buying $16 drugs every two weeks now!! I decided not to buy them again because Oscey ( our oscar) needed a new filter system because his broke, so we spent $10 of my $16 for drugs on him!! He doesn't like the clean water very much, he hasn't been moving around much, this morning I thought he was dead, but he wasn't! I decorated the apartment some more this weekend, and I got to decorate work too, everyone there thought I did a very good job, and the little kids love it!!! I am suposed to be doing homework right now because I work at 2:30, I don't have much to do though so that is good!! I took friday off of work this week so I can go to ashley's wedding, I don't know what I will wear yet....Jese isn't coming because he couldn't get it off of work. I was going to have a halloween party the weekend after halloween and I invited my friends, and jese's but then today when I was putting makeup on I realized that that is the weekend of deer hunting, opps! So I had to cancel my party :( I better get a deer this year!! The other day when I was driving home from work my car almost stalled on me!!!! I talked to one of the girls at work and her boyfriend (of 10 years!!!) is going to look at it for me and give it a tune up. I will bring it in sometime this week or next week. He fixes everyones cars that works there!! Oh yeah, the other day I bought some flowers, yes I bought them for myself!! And for the first time ever the cats didn't kill them, well not yet anyways!! They haven't even knocked down the vase, the have ate a few petals though, hopefully they weren't posinus!!!! Okay I guess I will do some homework now!!

I hope it isn't busy at work today because I don't really feel like working, but what a girls gotta do, a girls gotta do!! School Sucks!!!!

Hello hello!! Well pretty much I think school is boring, still!! So nothing has changed this year from the last two years!! Jese didn't get a bear up north :( That is okay, I guess we will survive! So on monday I didn't do to much, just some homework and then work, it wasn't very exciting. Yesterday I had classes, so did Jese. Neither one of us worked so we took a walk, we didn't see too much, the houses aren't to big around us. There is a community of apartments next to us, it is kind of like a gated community of apartments, minus the gate!! So now we know where to go in case our new place get sold!! Today I did some homework now I am sitting in my class waiting for it to start, how exciting! Tonight Jese works again, so I will be by myself again, oh well. Tomorrow I have classes and work all day from 8-8, another busy day! Well that is all I know for now, my class is starting!
Later gator,

Fall time!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Well it's my favorite time of the year, fall!!!!! Well it is actually fall around Sept. 22, but it feels like it already!! The weather is perfect, not to hot and not to cold, just the way I like it!! Since fall is my favorite time ever I thought I would go to the dollar tree and find some fall decerations, but they already sold those because alls they had was halloween things, so I had to get those instead!!!! So I decorated my place for halloween a whole month and half before it, hehe!!! It isn't my fault they didn't have fall stuff! I spent $26 there!!! But that is okay because it would have been like $150 at walmart for the same things. My table looks so sweet, I would take a picture of it but Jese HAD to take my camera with him up north, he better get a bear now since I couldn't take a picture of my table!! I also made sugar cookies, but I don't have fall cookie cutters so I had to make halloween ones, hehe!!! They are pretty sweet, but it is a good thing I made them already because I have to practice my frosting before halloween, so the real halloween cookies look really good!! I would take a picture of my cookies but Jese HAD to take my camera, jerk!! I even got candy corn!!! But that is a fall candy, not halloween so it is okay! Pizza tried to eat one but I caught her and I took it away from her!! I want to get indian corn to hang up, it looks very nice, I wonder when people will start selling it...I beat Bronk's will have some! Today I threw away my tomato plant because it was getting no more tomatoes, I also threw away my dead cactuses, they have been outside since we moved because I had no place for them and they died, oh well!! I wish the only seasons were spring and fall, winter is too cold and summer is too hot, I don't like them very much!! In the fall I get lots more energy because the air is nice and crispy and wakes me up!! Oh yes, today I also did some homework, not much though, I will do more tomorrow and monday, I don't have that much to do! Well Jese is up north bear hunting, jerk, I hope he gets a bear, we really need some meat. We really need some bear meat because he spent $40 on the license and if he doesn't get one we will have nothing for the $40 and I would NOT be a happy kamper!! I was going to make chicken noodle soup today but I was to busy doing other things, I wish I did though because it would have been really good!! Maybe I will make it tomorrow. Yesterday I made myself meat balls and gravey and mashed potatoes, and noodles, it was really yummy!! Maybe I will have the left overs for supper. Well I guess I don't know anything else, I will go try a cookie and put the rest away!! I will take a mental picture of them and my table for you!!

Be nice in Winona or you'll find poop on your car!!!

Yesterday Jese told me that there was a truck that spilled poop all over by campus and got all over cars, hehe!!! Here is the article on it that was in the paper today!!

Truck dumps load: Possible manure spill leaves road slippery when ‘wet’
By Kevin Behr Winona Daily News
There are so many ways to begin a story like this, but few are suitable for print. On Thursday afternoon, passersby on Main Street were greeted with an interesting and an unpleasant sight.A brown slimy substance that looked (and smelled) an awful lot like manure was spilled in the southbound lane of Main Street from downtown to the Winona State University campus. Cars parked along the street for about 10 blocks were splattered with the stuff.Winona Police officer Ryan Walski said his department got the call about 2:45 p.m. that a truck carrying “something” spilled its contents all along the road.“We don’t know what it is,” he said. “But we got a mess.”Police were working to track down the offending truck. As of Thursday afternoon, they didn’t know what kind of truck it was, where it came from, what company it belonged to or what it was carrying, said Winona Police Sgt. Eric Engrav. He said the substance appeared to be ground-up agricultural waste products possibly from poultry.Engrav said the material looked and smelled similar to the material dropped in another spill earlier this summer on Mankato Avenue. The police department is checking to see if the two spills are related. The fire department helped block off the intersection of Main and Broadway and began the initial cleanup at about 3 p.m. Captain Kim Bartleson said the road would have to be flushed and swept to thoroughly clear off the slick substance. To avoid creating a possibly hazardous situation, the material won’t be hosed off, Engrav said. He said sand was laid down to soak up the goo so it could be swept away.Even with the sand in place, the southbound lane was slick as black ice, and the danger was as invisible. Walski said three car accidents occurred there before traffic could be diverted away from the mess. The only evidence of those crashes was a crumpled license plate covered in refuse lying near the intersection of Main and Broadway Streets. Many people drove through the spill, spraying parked cars and giving them new, brown polka-dot paintjobs. There will be a lot of angry people returning to their vehicles, Bartelson said.“This stuff is hard on paint,” he said. “It’s pretty nasty at this point.”One person returned to his black pickup truck with a look of confusion and disbelief on his face. But a red Jeep parked near Broadway Street probably got the worst of it. It had a soft top and no window on the driver’s side. The driver’s seat was splashed and the dashboard and steering wheel were caked with the stuff.

Hello!!!

Hello everyone!! Well today I got up at 9:30 and got to work on my homework, I am getting good at doing it right away instead of waiting until last minute unlike monday hehe!!! I got done around noon then I found out that my class was cancled!!!!!!! That meant I had no classes or work today, it was sweet!! Then Jese and I went to Target and we got our registry figured out. After that we went home and Jese did some homework then he went to work and he will be there until 11:00. I really have nothing to do now because I don't want to clean because I will do it this weekend when I am here by myself. Well I guess I don't know anything else so bye!

Christa A. WadekamperThis is the picture I got when I asked cassie to take a picture of me in my wedding dress!

Grrrrr....

...I am not happy. Yesterday Jese and I went to target to register for some more things (total of 173 more) and the girl there must not have uploaded it or something because it isn't updated online. She just took the scanner from us and said you done and I said yep and she walked away and went to talk to someone else. I am not very happy because now we have to go back next week and try to rember everything we did, jerks.

Homework Finished!!!

Hello!!! Well I finished my homework, kind-of!!!!! Today when I got up I put together a salad and brought it to work because we were having a pot luck then I came back home and did homework untill 12, then I took a shower, did some more homework and then went to work at 2:30! I can't believe the amount of people who wait until the day before school starts to get their kids hair cut!!!! At the end of the day at work I had one of the stylist put my hair up so I don't have to deal with it tomorrow morning!!! I hope it stays though, I don't have any hairspray left to put in it. I got home from work around 8:15 and I started to do some more homework and I just got done it is 10:00 now!! Well really I am not done but I am not sure on how to do all of it so I just did what I knew!! I know I did some of my accounting wrong but I don't feel like looking through my old book to find out how to do part of it, oh well!! It is mostly right! Jese works until 11:00 so I am going to try to stay up so I can see him. We went swimming again yesterday, and the day before that, pretty much after 5:30 nobody uses the pool so that is when we go, plus then it feels the warmest because the air is cooler than the water!!!! Well I think I am going to eat a piece of cake or ice cream and watch gilmore girls, oh yeah who has my last season jerks I want it back!!! okay bye!
christa
oh yeah if anyone has some good book send them my way, i need something besides school books to read!!!

Just an article on hunting that was in the winona paper, it isn't to exciting but I thought I would share it!!!

Number of U.S. hunters in decline
By The Associated Press
Hunters remain a powerful force in U.S. society, as evidenced by the candidates who routinely pay them homage, but their ranks are shrinking dramatically and wildlife agencies worry increasingly about the loss of sorely needed license-fee revenue.New figures from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service show that the number of hunters 16 and older declined by 10 percent between 1996 and 2006 — from 14 million to about 12.5 million. The drop was most acute in New England, the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific states, which lost 400,000 hunters in that span. The primary reasons, experts say, are the loss of hunting land to urbanization plus a perception by many families that they can’t afford the time or costs that hunting entails.“To recruit new hunters, it takes hunting families,” said Gregg Patterson of Ducks Unlimited. “I was introduced to it by my father, he was introduced to it by his father. When you have boys and girls without a hunter in the household, it’s tough to give them the experience.”Some animal-welfare activists welcome the trend, noting that it coincides with a 13 percent increase in wildlife watching since 1996. But hunters and state wildlife agencies, as they prepare for the fall hunting season, say the drop is worrisome.“It’s hunters who are the most willing to give their own dollar for wildlife conservation,” Patterson said.Compounding the problem, the number of Americans who fish also has dropped sharply — down 15 percent, from 35.2 million in 1996 to 30 million in 2006, according to the latest version of a national survey that the Fish and Wildlife Service conducts every five years.Of the 50 state wildlife agencies, most rely on hunting and fishing license fees for the bulk of their revenue, and only a handful receive significant infusions from their state’s general fund.“They’re trying to take care of all wildlife and all habitats on a shoestring budget,” said Rachel Brittin of the Washington-based Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies. In New Hampshire, only multiple fee increases — which produced numerous complaints — have enabled the Fish and Game Department to keep revenues robust. Its ranks of registered hunters has dropped from 83,292 in 1996 to 61,076 last year, according to department spokeswoman Judy Stokes.“We hear concerns about land access,” Stokes said. “People grew up hunting — you went out with your family, your uncle. And now you go back, and there’s a shopping plaza or a housing development. Some of your favorite places just aren’t available anymore.”National hunting expert Mark Damian Duda, executive director of Virginia-based research firm Responsive Management, says America’s increasingly urban and suburban culture makes it less friendly toward the pastime.“You don’t just get up and go hunting one day — your father or father-type figure has to have hunted,” Duda said. “In a rural environment, where your friends and family hunt, you feel comfortable with guns, you feel comfortable with killing an animal.”Indeed, hunting remains vibrant in many rural states — 19 percent of residents 16 and older hunted last year in Montana and 17 percent in North Dakota, compared with 1 percent in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey. Nationally, 5 percent of the 16-and-over population hunted in 2006, down from 7 percent in 1996.As their ranks dwindle, hunters are far from unified. The often big-spending, wide-traveling trophy hunters of Safari Club International, for example, have different priorities from duck hunters frequenting close-to-home wetlands. One rift involves hunters disenchanted with the National Rifle Association, which runs major hunting programs and lobbies vigorously against gun control. A Maryland hunter, Ray Schoenke, has formed a new group, the American Hunters and Shooters Association, primarily as a home for hunters who would support some restrictions on gun and ammunition sales.“The NRA’s extreme positions have hurt the hunting movement,” Schoenke said. “Soccer moms now believe hunters have made things more dangerous.”Political support for hunting remains strong, though, with several states recently enshrining the right to hunt and fish in their constitutions.Last month, President Bush ordered all federal agencies that manage public lands to look for more room for hunting. In the 2004 presidential campaign, both Bush and Democratic rival John Kerry courted hunters’ and gun owners’ votes. A camouflage-jacketed Kerry even toted a shotgun during a goose hunt.Among the 2008 candidates, Democrat Bill Richardson aired a TV ad showing him hunting, while Republican Mitt Romney was derided for calling himself a lifelong hunter even though he never had state hunting licenses.Public support for hunting also is high, in part because huge deer populations have become a nuisance in many areas. Duda’s surveys indicate less than 25 percent of Americans oppose hunting, although groups such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals denounce it as cruel. Most major animal-welfare and conservation groups don’t campaign to end hunting, but some lobby against specific practices such as bear hunting or “canned” hunts in which game is confined in fenced areas and shot by hunters who pay large sums for the opportunity.“As a matter of principle, we should not condone the killing of any animal in the interest of sport,” said Andrew Page of the Humane Society of the United States. “But as a matter of pragmatism, we target those practices that even hunters would agree are egregious.”The Humane Society welcomed the new federal data showing a surging number of birdwatchers, wildlife photographers and other wildlife watchers. They increased from 62.8 million in 1996 to 71.1 million in 2006, spending $45 billion on their activities compared to $75 billion spent by hunters and anglers.“The American attitude regarding wildlife is changing,” Page said. “I suspect the day will come when a presidential candidate goes to a local humane society to adopt a homeless animal, rather than go the field and pose as hunter with a gun.”However, hunting groups and state wildlife agencies are striving to reverse the decline by recruiting new hunters. Vermont’s Game and Wildlife Department, for example, sponsors thrice-annual youth hunting weekends, offers low-cost youth licenses and teaches firearms safety and outdoor skills each summer at youth conservation camps.Another initiative is Families Afield, sponsored by three national hunting groups; it aims to ease state restrictions on youth hunting. At least 12 states have obliged, enabling thousands of youths to sample hunting before taking required hunter education courses.Other programs seek to attract more women, though few promote racial diversity. More than 90 percent of U.S. hunters are male; roughly 96 percent are white.Rob Sexton, a vice president of the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance, said one upside of the shrinking numbers is that hunting groups are more motivated to seek remedies, such as access to more land and less burdensome regulations.“There are still a lot of us,” he said. “Hunting is a great passion for our people.”
